We've built an experience that puts teamwork first. Our puzzles require you to work together with your team - no sitting back while one person does all the work! Whether you are playing with friends, family, or work colleagues, anyone with a computer can easily join the fun. And there's no setup required - just log in when you are ready to play and the game will do the rest!
The game typically takes between 60 and 90 minutes to complete. However, there is no enforced time limit.
We recommend that each team has 2-6 players for the best experience. We encourage groups of 6+ to split into smaller teams for a little friendly competition.
Each team needs one Detective, and the Detective role can only be accessed by logging in with a paid account.
If you want to have multiple teams, feel free to share your paid account login information so that others can sign in and be Detectives as well.

We are two friends with a huge passion for Escape Rooms and Murder Mysteries. After the global pandemic started in March of 2020, we wanted to find an online alternative to traditional escape rooms, but couldn't find anything that offered the same teamwork-based experience. So we set out to do it ourselves.
Teamwork was the #1 consideration throughout our ideation process. We wanted to make sure that the players were required to communicate in order to solve puzzles. This is where our role-based system came in. Each player would have access to different information, creating really cool 'aha!' moments for players as they discuss what they are seeing on their screens. From there, we designed unique puzzles and a captivating plot, which eventually became our first virtual escape game: Cyber Crime Unit.
